I am really happy right now! Today when I was on Facebook, I saw that American Girl had posted the location for the next American Girl Place. And guess where it is? Columbus Ohio!
Although I live in Michigan, I live right on the border, so Ohio is really close to us. So Columbus is about two and a half hours away! That is so exciting! Right now, the closest one is Chicago, which is about four and a half hours away. So, this is real exciting for me!
My friend and I decided that we were going to go to the grand opening whenever it is. We were laughing tonight, saying that we would just rent a hotel room for every night in summer 2013, since we don't know what day the Grand opening is. That way, we will be there the morning it opens! Even if it means spending thousands of dollars on hotel rooms we won't even need.
But of course, it is our parents who will make the decision if we go or not. It is still nearly a year away, so planning it this early would be a waist. But it is still fun to imagine. :)
