Today, 3 years ago, I was on my email, when something popped up on my screen suggesting me to Blogger. I wasn't sure what it was, so my brother and I looked into it. That's when I saw how cool blogs were. It was like a journal online, where anyone can read, or comment, or follow you!
I went to ask my mom if I could make one. And after thinking about it, she came back and said yes! 

I spent hours making my blog look perfect. And I believe the first day I had this blog, I posted about 3 times. I am actually surprised that I have kept it up this long. I know it will be a lot of fun to be able to look back in a few years to see all that I have done since my first post on July 28th, 2009.

Anyway, it's time to get on with the Giveaway! Yesterday, I mentioned it was worth $25.00, and that it was the biggest giveaway I had ever had on here! You might have guessed what it was, but if you haven't, here it is!!

3rd Birthday Giveaway!

Well, the fair is on Sunday! I am super excited! The fair is always so much fun! You can read about my experiences at the fair here. -> 2009,  2010, and 2011.

I will be sure to take lots of pictures to share with you.

Anyway...I have an announcement!!!

Tomorrow marks the 3rd birthday of this blog! It is so weird to think I was just about to start 8th grade when this blog started...And I'm going into 11th grade next month. O_0 But, I decided that I am going to do something to celebrate. And that is...a giveaway! I am very excited to show you what I will be giving away.

I have had several giveaways before on here.

Back in 2009, I gave away an Addy American Girl McDonald's toy.
In February 2010, I gave away a purse with some girly things in it.
I had a doll jewelry giveaway summer 2010.
I also had a Christmas giveaway, but ended up cancelling that one, because I didn't have enough people sign up.

But let's hope that doesn't happen for this giveaway. This one is different than all my other giveaways, because I spent $25.00 on this prize. That is more than all the giveaways I've had combined!

But since you don't usually open birthday presents the day before your birthday, you're going to have to come back tomorrow to see the "present" I'm going to give to one of you.

5,000 Page Summer

If you are a follower on my other blog, Sammy's Reviews, you might know that I am working on a goal for the summer. That goal, is to read 5,000 pages of books. That is quite a lot for me. I was so busy this past school year, I think I read a total of 6 books since school started last fall. And that really needs to change.

Now that I am done with school, (Actually, I already started next year's school, but I won't get into that) I will have plenty of time to read. And like I said, my goal is 5,000 pages. So far, I have only finished one book. That book is "Nancy Drew Girl Detective-Secret Identity. It was really good, but pretty short. It only had 163 pages in the book. So I still have 4,837 pages left. I am in the middle of a few other books, so I really have less than that, but I won't count the pages, until I finish the books.

Other news, we are going on another trip in 6 days. This one is going to be a lot quicker than Chicago. We are going to Cincinnati Ohio to see the Reds play Baseball. It is only about 4 hours away, so it isn't that long of a drive. We were just going to make it a day trip, leave really early, then come back late afternoon. But then, they changed the time of the game from an afternoon game, to a night game. So, if we decided to come back that night, we wouldn't get back until really late. So, we decided to stay the night.

We are going with some family friends. They have 3 kids, but they are all very young. The oldest is 8, and then there is a 6 year old, and a 1 year old. My brother and the 8 year old are really good friends, so Evan is excited. I don't really mind, but it would be nice to have one of my friends come. But, I don't think that is going to happen this time.

I am happy though that there is a Disney Store in the area. So, yay!! That is like, the best place even. In fact, I think that we are going to a Disney Store tomorrow. I think I am going to get the Disney Animator's Merida doll. She is so cute. :)

New Look, New Year.

If you haven't noticed, I changed my blog around a little. I have seen that a lot of blogs have "themes" that they use, so I decided to try that. So, the theme I chose was Country Living. I don't know how long I will keep this, but I kinda like it. Let me know what you think. :)

So, I have been thinking, and I want to set a goal for this year. I want to get 100 followers by January 1st 2013. I have 64 right now, so I will only need 46 more followers. I know that's a lot, but I think that if you all help me with this, it might work.

Hello? Is Anyone There?

I am rather disappointed. 

I really haven't noticed it until now, but after looking at my past posts, I haven't had someone comment on one of my posts in a while. In fact...in the past 2 months...I have had...3 comments. One of them, being from me.

I am not mad, but just curious...Does anyone read my blog?

I have asked this question before, and sometimes I get large responses, like 6 or 7 comments. (To me, that is a big deal) And other times, I would get 1, possibly 2, which I guess is better than none.

I don't like making posts like this. I always tell myself, when I go on, and see that I have no comments, that someone is going to comment on the next post, but recently, that hasn't been the case.

I have been told by several people that they read my blog, and like what I write about, but I can't know that someone is reading it, unless they tell me. 

Plus the fact that I haven't had a new follower since August...

So, I guess what I am asking, is just that I want  to know if you are reading my blog or not. All you have to do, is comment in this post saying, "I read!" Or something along those lines. 

When I first started this blog, I was doing it mostly for myself. I never thought I would have 64 people following my blog! I thought it was just going to be an online Journal, keeping track of things that I did as a young teenager. And that is what happened! But then people started following, and telling me that they like my blog, and I guess I started doing it more for you guys. 

I love telling you all about what is going on in my life! But I guess I want to know what you really think. Has my blog become to dry? If you would like to tell me what you think of my blog, but would like only me to see it, you can comment on this post just saying what you think, but telling me not to publish the comment, (I have to look at your comment first, before I put it on here for anyone to see) Or, you can email me at SammySleuth@gmail.com

Hey Guys, so I know I already posted today, but I just got tagged by Quinlyn, and I thought it was really cool. So I'm going to do it. But PLEASE read the other post I posted today. It's right under this one. Okay, so this tag is what your music says about you. What I'm going to do, it put my mix pod on shuffle (Already is) And then answer one of these questions with that song. This is going to be alittle diffrent for me, because all my songs are piano songs, but I'll do my best.

A. Serenade. Dose that mean that I'm going to be a piano player? That would be cool!

A. As the Deer. Um, I don't really know what that means. My love life will be like a deer?

Never Alone. That make sence, because when life gets hard, I'll always know that I'm never alone.

Thy Word. Um, the song Thy Word is from Psalm 119:105. And I like studying the bible, so I guess that's right.

Lullaby. Well, I think I would think about that at night. Not in the morning.

Angel Eyes. Um... Okay. I guess it's sorta a song for a wedding.

Lake Erie Rainfall. Well, since we live right next to Lake Erie, and I have been there hundreds of times, I guess that will work. But I don't think it's my favorite place. :)

Joy. Haha! That is good! My friends are all full of Joy! But it would be even cooler if my friends name was Joy. :)

Dream Come True. So, somebodies going to hate me, or I'm going to hate the world, and ether it's going to be a dream come true fro someone else that I die, or I will want to die because my life is horrible. (Hopefully nether)

A Fixed Computer, A Piano Recital, an AG Book, and an Easy Way to Curl Lanie's Hair.

Hey Guys!!! I'm Super excited to say that my laptop now works!!!! YES!!! It is SO nice to be able to get on it again!! And the guy who fixed it took everything (Except my Switched on Schoolhouse schoolwork) off it. So, It's like a new computer!!!! Anyway, I just wanted to tell you that. This morning my mom and I went to my piano recital practice. My recital in next Friday, but the practice was this morning at 9:30. I went there, and took my friend Maddie, (who also takes lessons) with me. I am playing a Hymn Medley. Which includes... Amazing Grace, Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus, Farest Lord Jesus, What a friend we have in Jesus, and Crown him with many crowns. I am playing The Last song (Crown him) The Jim Brickman way, because I love that version. Anyway, after the practice, we droped Maddie of at her house, and went to Meijer. (If you live in Michigan, Ohio, or Indiana you know what I'm talking about) It's kinda like a super Walmart. Anyway, we went there, and they have a bunch of American Girl books there. And we got the Just Mom and Me book.
It's really cool!

Oh, and Quinlyn (www.quinlynsblog.blogspot.com) told me that she saw a video on how to re-curl Lanie's hair. And I'm happy to say that I tried it, and it worked perfectly. Lanie's hair is as curly as it was when I first got her. And the cool part is... All you need is a doll hair brush and water. First, you dip the dolls hair in water, then brush it out, then let it dry. And it actually worked! Thanks Quinny!!!

My Computer Broke!!!

Hey Guys! Sorry that I haven't been posting very much. It's because my laptop just died on me. It was so weird! About a month ago, It wouldn't let my click on any links, then about two weeks later it wouldn't even let me go online. Then, about a week ago, It just wouldn't even turn on! I was so mad, because It sames like half my life is one here! So, there is this guy at our church who is a computer guy. (He fixes computers) So, I gave him my laptop on Sunday, and he said that he would have it ready by tomorrow! Yeah! And you're asking, "If your computer is being worked on, how are you writing this?" And the answer is... My brothers computer!! I hate this one. Even though it's brand new, and is 75% faster than mine, I love mine much better. And my brothers can't wait for mine to be fixed, because they want there laptop back to themselves only. Anyway, Hopefully, the next post I make will be on my computer! Anyway, we are going to the mall in like, 15 minutes. The new Jim Brickman CD is out, and I'm getting it! Yeah! See ya soon!!! ~Sammy
