My blog's 3rd birthday!!!!



Today, 3 years ago, I was on my email, when something popped up on my screen suggesting me to Blogger. I wasn't sure what it was, so my brother and I looked into it. That's when I saw how cool blogs were. It was like a journal online, where anyone can read, or comment, or follow you!
I went to ask my mom if I could make one. And after thinking about it, she came back and said yes! 

I spent hours making my blog look perfect. And I believe the first day I had this blog, I posted about 3 times. I am actually surprised that I have kept it up this long. I know it will be a lot of fun to be able to look back in a few years to see all that I have done since my first post on July 28th, 2009.

Anyway, it's time to get on with the Giveaway! Yesterday, I mentioned it was worth $25.00, and that it was the biggest giveaway I had ever had on here! You might have guessed what it was, but if you haven't, here it is!!

3rd Birthday Giveaway!

Well, the fair is on Sunday! I am super excited! The fair is always so much fun! You can read about my experiences at the fair here. -> 2009,  2010, and 2011.

I will be sure to take lots of pictures to share with you.

Anyway...I have an announcement!!!

Tomorrow marks the 3rd birthday of this blog! It is so weird to think I was just about to start 8th grade when this blog started...And I'm going into 11th grade next month. O_0 But, I decided that I am going to do something to celebrate. And that is...a giveaway! I am very excited to show you what I will be giving away.

I have had several giveaways before on here.

Back in 2009, I gave away an Addy American Girl McDonald's toy.
In February 2010, I gave away a purse with some girly things in it.
I had a doll jewelry giveaway summer 2010.
I also had a Christmas giveaway, but ended up cancelling that one, because I didn't have enough people sign up.

But let's hope that doesn't happen for this giveaway. This one is different than all my other giveaways, because I spent $25.00 on this prize. That is more than all the giveaways I've had combined!

But since you don't usually open birthday presents the day before your birthday, you're going to have to come back tomorrow to see the "present" I'm going to give to one of you.

What you Missed Part 1 (My Birthday)

Wow, I can't believe it has been almost a month since I have posted on here. I guess I have been pretty busy. The past few weeks I haven't spend much time on my computer for a few reasons. Although I didn't give the computer up for lent, I have tried to spend more time outside, or doing something that doesn't require electronics. And, well, that's one of the reasons I haven't been on here. The other reason is, my brother Collin gave up his Ipad for lent, so he has been spending extra time on the computer. That doesn't make since to me. But, it has helped me stay off it.

So, a lot has happened since I last wrote on here. First off, I am no longer 15. On March 4th I turned 16. It doesn't feel any different, but it never does. I was actually afraid that my birthday was going to be cancelled. Here is what happened...

I woke up on March 3rd pretty excited. I was having a small family party that night, and having one of my friends over. I quickly got up and dressed, and went out to the kitchen where I saw my mom. She didn't look good. I soon found out that she had the stomach flu. She hadn't thrown up yet, but she said her stomach hurt really badly. She said she was going to go back to bed, and see if she felt better after that. So, about 3 hours later, she woke up, and felt even worse.

She was planning on cancelling the party, but I told her she didn't have to. I could make the dinner, and clean up, and decorate. So, she went to lay down again, and I started cooking. Now, I enjoy cooking every once in a while, but I had never prepared a whole meal for 25 people. We were going to have tacos, enchiladas, and other Mexican food.

My dad helped me with the things I couldn't do, and my brother made the sauce for the tacos, and the cake was already made, I just had to decorate it. So, about 45 minutes before everyone came, we had the whole kitchen messed up finished up, making sure everything that was suppose to be warm, was warm.

Finally, we had the dishes clean and put away, the food warm, and the tables set. So when the guests came, (my mom's side of the family) everything seemed to go better. My aunts helped me serve the food, and once everyone had eaten, clean up. I don't think I could have done it all by myself.

But that wasn't really what I was worried about. The next day was my birthday, and the only think I asked for, was to go shopping in Toledo with my mom, so if she was sick, we wouldn't have been able to go. So when I went to bed that night, I figured that we would go in the next few days, so when I woke up the next morning, (my birthday) I found out that my mom was feeling better. (Yay!!!)

I wasn't expecting any presents, but I did get a really pretty purity ring and a matching necklace from Kay Jewelers. They are aqua marine, my birthstone.

So...we went to church that morning, and then we came home and had lunch, then mom and I went to Toledo. We went to Family Christian stores first and I got an Owl Cup, and Adventures in Odyssey Album 54. Then we went to Barns and Noble, but I didn't see anything I liked. Then we went to the mall.

We went to the Disney store. I hadn't been to it in several years, so when I walked in the store, I'm sure my jaw dropped to the ground.

Tangled EVERYWHERE! They had a whole line of tangled ever after stuff! I never wanted to leave that store.

After about a half hour, I ended up spending the rest of my money, and got 5 dolls.

Afterwards, we went to Panara for an early dinner, then went back home, and finished the day watching Sue Thomas FBEye.

My Birthday!

Hey Everyone!!!

Sorry I didn't post on my birthday, it was a CRAZY day, and I didn't have time. Anyway, I had a great birthday, and I wish that all birthday could be like it.

I remember on my tenth birthday, I woke up really early. Not because I was excited for what the day had to bring, but because I felt HORRIBLE. My head hurt, my throat hurt, and I was sore all over. Turns out, that I had strep throat, a sinus infection, and an ear infection. Some birthday that turned out to be.

Anyway, here are the things that I got for my birthday from my family!

Kannai!!!

She is SO pretty! I love her hair!!! :)

 An Owl Change Purse. :) The little Owl is SO cute. :)

I am using it as a camera case. It works perfect for it.

A Charm Bracelet. The picture isn't that great, but I <3 it!

like an Owl, a leaf, a heart, a button...

That was all I got for my birthday.

Oh, also, my BFF Crystal got me a very unexpected gift...

A Nancy Drew game.

(The only one I was missing from my 23 game collection)

Cori's Birthday, Vacation Suspense, and Teen Girl's Day Book

Hey everyone!!

Guess what??? Today is my friend Cori's 15th birthday!!! On Sunday, I went to her party. She did a laser tagging party. It was SO much fun! I would LOVE to do it again some time! :) I am working on something for Cori's birthday, but I don't have it done yet. But when I get it done, I will put it on here! So, Happy Birthday Cori!!!! lol

I am getting really excited about our vacation! It is going to be AWESOME!!! Anyway, I am going to do another Day Book. Like I said, I am going to do a few different ones, and then when I find the one that I like the best, I'll stick with it. So, today, I am doing the teen girls Day book. :) Ready? Here it goes!!

Very Sorry, but I got big news!

Hey Guys. I'm VERY sorry that I haven't posted in like, forever. I have no excuse.:( But, I do have a suprise. I just got a new AG doll. I know that some of you already know what doll it is, but If you don't know, try to guess. I'll post pics of her later. (Oh. Here is a hint. Happy Birthday to Me!!!

Hey Guys!! Today is a very special day for me. Why you ask? Well, BECAUSE IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!! This morning at 10:55am I turned 14. And so far, today was a great day. Here are the things that I got from my family.

And then for breakfast, we went to MC Donald's with my friends, Cori and Abby. And they also got me a gift.



This is a bag that I'm going to use to carry my Bible. It's really cute!!




And, they also got me the doll Purses book. I can't wait to make them.

So those were all the gifts I got. I'm really grateful, and glad that I have been here for 14 years. :)

Tonight, I'm going to see this guy with Cori and Abby. His name is Nick Vujicic. He's this guy without any arms or legs. We watched a movie of him in my youth group and I'm really excited to see him. Here is his website.

Clue for Cori, and Piano!

Hey Guys!!! I don't have really anything to post about, but my friend Cori wanted another clue about my party, so, I decided to just find something to post about online. So first, I'll give clue #3. So, here it it. Clue #3: The Guests will be on teams. Okay. Keep guessing! ;) Oh, and I found this movie online, and I thought that it was cool! I like because I love to play the piano! The Best Mac and Cheese in Town!

Hey guys! Sorry it's been a while since I posted. I haven't been on my blog what seams like forever. First, I'm going to give another clue about my party. Clue #2: it dosn't cost any money. Keep guessing! But now I'm going to show you how to make the best Mac and Cheese ever. It's from the American Girl Kit Cook Book. So Here is the Recipe.






Ingredients:

* 1 Stick of butter divided
* 8 ounces of (or 2 cups) of Macaroni noodles
* 2 1/4 cups milk
* 4 tablespoons flour
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1/4 teaspoon pepper
* 2 cups grated cheddar cheese, divided
* 1/2 cup bread crumbs

Equipment:

* Large casserole dish
* Large saucepan
* Measuring cups and spoons
* Wooden Spoons
* Small skillet
* Pot holders
* Colander

1. Preheat the oven to 375*. Grease the casserole dish with 1 tablespoon of butter. Set Dish aside.

2. Pour 2 quarts of water into the large saucepan. Cover the pan and set it over haigh heat. Bring the water to a boil.

3. Add the noodles. Turn the heat to medium. Boil the noodles for 8 min. Stir occasionally.

4. Set the colander in the sink. Pour the noodles into the colander. Rinse the noodles with cold water. Put them back in the pan. Set the pan aside.

5. In a saucepan, heat the milk on medium high. Stir constantly until steaming hot but not boiling. Remove from heat.

6. In the other saucepan, melt 4 tablespoons of butter over low heat. Be carful not to let it burn. When the butter is melted, stir the flouer, salt, and pepper.

7. Add the hot milk to the butter mixture. Turn the heat to medium high. Cook the mixture for 5 min, stir constantly.

8. Remove the saucepan from heat. Add 1 1/2 cups of grated cheese. Stir mixture until all the cheese is melted.

9. Put half the noodles into the casserole dish. Cover with half the cheese sauce. Sprinkle 1/4 cups of grated cheese. Repeat with the rest of the noodles, cheese sause, and grated cheese.

10. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in the skillet over low heat. Add the bread crumbs. Stir until all the crumbs are moistened.

11. Sprinkle the crumbs over the macaroni and cheese. Bake the dish uncoverd for 25 min, or until browned up. Serve hot. Serves 4. (my family doubles the recipie because there are 6 in mine)

I know it take a long time, but it is SO worth it! I hope if you try it, you will enjoy it!!!

Birthday's, Lanie, and New Years a week too Late :)

Hey Guys!! Happy New Year!!!! (A week to late) :) Anyway, I hope everyone had a great New Year. So, has everyone seen Lanie yet? She is SO cute!!! I almost have enough money for her. But I decided I'm going to wait till my B-Day to get her. (Only 55 more days!!!) LOL!!! Anyway, speaking of B-Days, I have the coolest Idea for my B-Day party. But I can't tell you what it is, because it's a surprise to everyone who's coming. My friend Abby is always asking me what the party theme is. But I always tell her, "You have to Wait!!!" Isn't that right Abby??? Anyway, I have another question. And that question is... "What was the best B-Day party you every had, or went to??? Please comment and tell me your answer! I'd love to know. And when it comes closer to my B-Day, I'll start giving away more hints about my party. And I want everyone to know that if you all lived closer, you would all be invited!!!!
