How Love Wins

Back in December, I went to a concert called "The Story Tour" It was an awesome experience. You can read about it here. Anyway, one of the songs featured on the Story CD, is called "How Love Wins" by Steven Curtis Chapman. It is from the point of view of the man on the cross next  to Jesus. I thought that this would be a good time to share this song with you. This video was played while he was singing it.

Barbie Movies, and Havest Parties :)

Hey Everyone, sorry I haven't posted much this week. Today is going to be a VERY busy day for me. First, and 1:00pm, we are having a Fall Funtacular at my Church. What is that? you may ask? Well, it is sorta a Harvest Party. There is games, food, hay rides, moonwalks, and a pie auction. I am working the Bowling game. It is going to be alot of fun. Then, this afternoon, when we get home from Church, my family on my mom's side are coming over. There is going to be a BUNCH of people here. My Grandma, Aunt Karin, Aunt Julie, Uncle Jeff, Uncle Bill, Uncle Jon, and my cousins, Jayce, Kyra, Fiona, Jacob, Anna, Rachel, Rebekah, and Joshua. So, that is 14 people, not including me and my family, which makes 20. I am the oldest of all my cousins. (Well, I do have some older cousins, but they live on the other side of the country, (and won't be here) So, hopefully, we will have a fun time.

Anyway, remember a few weeks ago when I put one of my favorite Holiday movie trailers on here, well, today, I am going to do that same thing. The Movie I am going to talk about today is...


Barbie in A Christmas Carol!!!

Now, you are probably thinking, "Sam, you are 14 1/2 years old, and you are watching BARBIE MOVIES????" Well, yeah, I am. But Actually, the movies are something that anyone could watch and like. Sure, they are a little cheesy, but who cares? Here is a small part of the movie





So, basically, the movie is a lot like the classic book. Edin Starling, is the main character, and she Hate Christmas. She is making all her employees work on Christmas. That night, she is visited by 3 spirts. Past, Present, and Future. And she learns the true meaning of Christmas.

I love Edin's attitude. It is so funny! :P So, there you go! I think that you would enjoy it. I got it when I was 12, and I have watched it every Christmas season since 2008.

The Chase

So, last Friday, Me, My brothers, and a few of our friends decided to make a movie. We really didn't know what kind of movie we wanted to make, but we decided on a mystery. Well, it really didn't turn out to be a mystery. It was pretty much just a very long chase scene. We had to add bloopers to it, because no movie is good without bloopers. :) So, here you go! The Promise

I'm sure that most of you know that I play the piano. But, I bet a lot of you have never heard me play before. So, I am going to show one of my favorite songs to play. It is called, "The Promise." It is written by Jim Brickman, my favorite composer. Anyway, here it is!

I Got a Rock

You all know me. A HUGE lover of Christmas. Around this time, we are thinking about getting ready for the holidays. This is my favorite time of the year, because it is Holidays 24-7 until New Years. Right now, there is Halloween stuff out in stores. Once that is finished with, Thanksgiving will be here, and once Thanksgiving is done, it is Christmas CRAZY until New Years. Then, it starts to slow down-until Valentines day. :) Anyway, I don't want to rush you all, but I have been thinking about my favorite holiday movies. And what I am going to do, is a couple times a month (Maybe once a week) Until Christmas, I am going to post previews of my favorite holiday movies. Well, today, I am going to do one that EVERYBODY has seen before. It is a classic. :) It is, "The Great Pumpkin" :)

Christmas Programs Once Again!!! :)

Hey Everyone!!!!

So, if you remember last year, I wrote a Christmas program called, "A Manger Carol" that the youth group at my church preformed. It was so much fun. Here is a short video of a practice of it.




The play turned out great! Anyway, at the beginning of this year, I wrote another play. It is called, "Codename: The Bright Messiah" And after a lot of looking over, the church said that the youth group could do it again this year. Yesterday, we had our third practice. I am SO surprised how well this program is coming together so quickly! Here is a video I took last Sunday, at our second practice.




As you can see, these practices are so much fun! I can't wait to see the whole thing all put together! It will be great! :)

A Bible Study, and Bieber's Baby (lol)

Hey Everyone!!!! So, for the past 2 years, me and 3 of my friends have been doing a girls Bible Study. We meet every other week. Usually on a Thursday. We have done Studies on Purity, Modesty, and the book of Philippians. It has been so much fun. Well, we are planning on doing it again this year. One of the girls and her mom can't do it this year, because they have a busy year. But me and my 2 other friends, (Cori from Cori's Blog, and Abby from Child of Grace) Are still doing it. We might invite some other girls, but we haven't decided who yet. Anyway, this year, we are doing a study from this book,



It's a Bible Study about the books of Ruth and Esther. Ruth is my favorite book of the Bible, because it is about friendship. I also really like Esther, because it shows you that God can use anyone for his Glory. Anyway, I am looking forward to doing this study. I'll let you guys know more about it when it gets closer.

And...I think we decided on what song we are using for a music video. I guess we decided to make fun of Justin Bieber. We are going to do a funny version of Baby. A kid at my Church really wanted to be in the music video, so we decided that he could be Justin Bieber. I wouldn't say he looks "Just Like" Him, but I guess he sorta looks a little like him. I don't know. :) We were planning on making the video at my church. (Making a funny looking bowling ally, but then Cori had an idea to do it at a real bowling ally. We still haven't set a date of when or where we are going to make this video, but I promise that we are working on it, and that we should have it soon. :) But since we are starting school next week, that might get in the way. :( Oh well, I will try to get it on here as soon as possible.

Music Video and Slide Show!

Hey guys! A few months ago, I had a poll on my blog about what you wanted to see on my blog. And the winner was homemade music videos. Well, I am working on that. I am hoping to get a few of my friends over in the next week or so, and make an awesome music video. But, I'm not sure what we should do. Any Idea's of songs that we can use?? Please comment!!! And, well, another thing that people asked me to do, was to post a video of anything. So here is one that I did a few days ago. Ramona And Beezus

Today I went to see Ramona and Beezus. IT WAS AWESOME!!!! I loved it! I saw it with my friends. The movie was so cute. Ramona was my favorite. We were the only ones there. So, we didn't have to be extra quite. If you are thinking about seeing a movie, You HAVE to see this one. I'm sure you'll love it. The acting in it was great. Here is the trailer if you haven't seen it before.



I would love to go back and see it again. I enjoied it that much.

Piano Recitals and Youtube Channels

Hey Guys! I'm Super nervous because TONIGHT IS MY PIANO RECITAL!!! I know I'm ready for it, It's just that when you have to play the piano in front of 150 people, it can get scary. But, three of my friends are also going to be playing tonight. So, I'm excited to see them. And hopefully after the recital, we can get some Ice Cream. That sounds SO good right now! Clue for Cori, and Piano!

A Busy, But Fun Day!

Yesterday was a very busy day! First, me and my friend, Julia, went over to our other friend, Abby's house. (My mom, Julia's mom, and Abby's mom all worked at the hospital together) Anyway, while we were over their, I filmed some stuff. Mostly of Julia singing. Abby has seven American Girl Dolls. (Kaya, Dakota, Jordyn, Kristen, (JLY) two bitty twins that she hasn't named yet, and a Ag Baby doll. (I don't know it's name) I filmed them too.

As you can see, Julia likes Taylor Swift and Annie :) Anyway, That night, Me and my mom went to church. There was a Dinner, and the teen group was going to serve the drinks. I was tiring, but a lot of fun! When we weren't working, we were in the "lounge." (The room next to the Kitchen where we were set up) So, I took more pictures.

The day was a lot of fun! I can't wait till I have another day like it!

We're "Unbreakable"

My friend Cori came over today, and we had nothing to do. Their was nothing on TV, We were tired of playing with our AG dolls, and it was too hot to play outside. So we decided, hey, lets make a movie! Since the camera only takes 3 minutes of movie, we couldn't to much. But a song is usually about 3-4 min long. So, we could do a song. This is the song we decided on. But the song was 3 min and 15 sec long. So we didn't finish it. But we were on the last word when it stopped. Well, I hope you enjoy it!
